Hi!
This is Vipul Naik. I am doing my B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics at the Chennai Mathematical Institute in Siruseri which is just off Chennai, India. I am in the middle of my third and final year. I've been using Wikipedia for two and a half years (as of December 2006) and have been contributing to it for nearly two years.
I have gone to the International Mathematical Olympiads in the years 2003 and 2004 in Japan (check IMO 2003) and Greece (check IMO 2004) respectively, which may explain my contributions to Wikipedia articles relating to Indian and the Mathematics Olympiads.

[edit] Articles I have started (mathematics)
Due to Wikipedia policies, I have refrained from putting up poorly sourced/very new/original material on Wikipedia. The articles that I list below are those for which standard or semi-standard sources exist, though I have not managed to give proper references for all of them.
To put up material on group properties without having to stick to Wikipedia restrictions, I have started my own wiki on group theory. This wiki is currently still in alpha, so please do not edit it till I have it in good shape!

[edit] Articles on academic bodies, structures, and institutions
[edit] On institutions/bodies
Near-complete articles where I started or made major structural changes:
Institutions where I have done redirects and minor edits:
Stub-status institutions that I started:
- Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University
- National Board for Higher Mathematics
- Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education
Institutions where I made redirects to the full form:
[edit] On scholarships

Kshitij Bansal and Prateek Karandhikar have put up pages on the Informatics Olympiad on a similar pattern.
Effort for constructing similar pages on the Physics and Chemistry Olympiads is also under way.
