[edit] Creation of Page
Since the Wars in A Song of Ice and Fire had gotten so huge, I created this page and a War of the Five Kings page and copied the info over. Some rewriting and reediting may be required. Does someone know how to rename the page. I didn't mean to put 'THE' in the title and don't know how to remove it.--Werthead 14:16, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I guess the title is POV
I hate to bring this up (because it is ultimately my own fault), but I guess the proper name for this war is Robert’s Rebellion, it being the most commonly used name in the books. War of the Usurper is a narrow-minded Targaryen POV (and the Targs are POV-pushers anyway, and probably all anonymous vandals who destroy WP principles...). So I guess we have to move it. - It's hardly just Robert who rebels, though. Then again, don't have any better suggestions. Paul Willocx 12:49, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dragonstone
Added some stuff on events after Lord Eddard lifted the siege of Storm's End. The fall of Dragonstone is certainly an important event and I'd like to think that the deaths of the Old Bull and the Sword of the Morning are, too. That encounter in the mountains of Dorne certainly had a great impact on Eddard. And if Lyanna had lived, who knows what the Seven Kingdoms would be like? Certainly, so long as Dragonstone held out, Targaryen loyalists on the mainland would have had more concrete hopes of a restoration. As for the other, it seemed to have been such a battle as the minstrels of any age would've loved, though it seems that Eddard never said much about it. --128.61.52.60 04:08, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
