Talk:Waterfront
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
isnt this a goood candidate for wiktionary move? it is a very non-specific term which generally serves to locate nouns, like a preposition. one is said to be on the waterfront, for instance. but if one is describing the locale indicated by this term, one would say "beach" "riverbank" "shore", etc. there are no distinguishing characteristics of a "waterfront" other than the dictionary definition. an encyclopedic entry is inconceivable to this contributor. 172.161.71.84 05:42, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
