Waxy flexibility

Waxy flexibility is psychomotor symptom of catatonic schizophrenia where a posture, into which placed, is indefinitely maintained [1]. For instance, if you were to move the arm of someone with waxy flexibility, they would keep their arm where you moved it until they are moved again as if made from wax.
