Please feel free to add yourself here, and to indicate any areas of particular interest.
- Totnesmartin - I live in Totnes and I'm most interested in
chipsThe South Hams/Torbay area and Devon's Folklore. - Safalra 19:47, 2 January 2007 (UTC) - I live in Torquay and I've mainly worked on that article, including spending far too much time making a detailed map (Image:Map-of-torquay.png) from out-of-copyright sources.
- Birddrz - I live in Brixham and I'm very interested in the history of the area, the area in which I am the most knowledgeable (in my opinion) is the importance of Devon in British Naval Warfare, particularly Napoleonic warfare.
- TempyIncursion - I live in Plymouth, and have contributed to this and other Devon articles. I'm particularly interested in Devon's role in history (particularly the Civil War), its transport links and also Dartmoor and Exmoor.
- Geof Sheppard - I lived in Plymouth but have had to move back up country. I edit mainly railway articles.
- Herby - Born & bred and still live in the county. Dartmoor would be my specialist subject (I was around before as User:NigelR with a few edits but got a bit hacked off with stuff). That said at present I am mostly active on Wikibooks as an admin but I'll do what I can for Devon!
- Stevebritgimp Native and denizen of Plymouth. Interested in Devon ancient (Dumnonia) and modern (the sh*t-hole by the sea).
- Sjc 'nuff said.
- Foggy Dew - I was born in Honiton and lived in East Devon for the first 25 years of my life. Interested in the history of my home county especially East Devon.
- John Stumbles My father and many other ancestral Stumbles-es originate in the South Hams, especially Salcombe, and I have holidayed there since a child. I'd like to add my two-penn'orth where I can.
- Stickman I've been meaning to beef up the Kingsbridge page for a while now. If I get a free moment I'd like at least get a photo up, but ideally I'd like to spend a bit of time researching the history etc.
- Lynbarn My interest in the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway has lead to numerous edits to articles related to that line, and to several others of local interest.
- Suriel - Living in Plymouth for the last 8 years. Will be looking to contribute to articles about the city.
- Mageslayer99 - Born and raised in Plymouth, and I'm starting to add more articles, mainly sport-related.
- JamesFitz - Born and raised in Exeter, think that it is a great old place (boring maybe but nice) and feel that apart from the same old same old there is a need to broaden Exeter's entries - like mentioning something a little more recent than the Prayer Book Rebellion.

[edit] Templates
This section contains templates used by or applicable to the project. Note that new stub templates should be proposed before creation at WP:WSS/P
[edit] Talk page template
All entries of Devon towns and villages should have the above template placed on their talk pages. A list of categories whose articles should be tagged is available at Wikipedia:WikiProject Devon/Categories. Sometimes, you will see a UK geography WikiProject template already there; in these cases, add our template after theirs. You can add the template using the following code:
{{WikiProject Devon | suggestions = }}
See Template:WikiProject Devon for further examples and details of the suggestions parameter.
[edit] Article template
- Template:Devon
The above template should be routinely added to the end of each entry of a Devon town and village. You add it by editing in {{Devon}} at the end of the entry's page.
