WikiProject on Homeopathy

[edit] Scope

This WikiProject covers all articles about Homeopathy in Wikipedia.

The project is open to, and intended for, both supporters and detractors of homeopathy and also those who are neutral towards the subject.

1. Improve existing articles on homeopathy in Wikipedia
2. Widen existing scope of coverage by addition of articles on relevant topics in homeopathy to Wikipedia
3. Assure that all homeopathy articles on Wikipedia conform to WP:ATT and WP:NPOV
4. Maintain an atmosphere consistent with WP:NPA and WP:AGF on talk pages and edit summaries of homeopathy-related articles

• Draft for new Miasms article: Given the importance of the topic, I think we should have an article on Miasms instead of the redirect to the main article we currently have. I reproduced the contents of the section on Miasms in the main article here as a preliminary guide to our work (note click on the box to go there). Please go and edit! • Please make sure all new bio articles and edits to existing articles comply with guidelines in Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography

• Also note the criteria for notability described in Wikipedia:Notability (people)#special cases under "creative professionals: scientists, academics, professors, authors, editors, journalists, filmmakers, photographers, artists, architects, engineers, and other creative professionals":

• The person has received notable awards or honors
• The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by their peers or successors
• The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory or technique
• The person has created a significant or well-known work, or collective body of work which has been the subject of an independent book or feature-length film, or multiple independent periodical articles or reviews

Users who create new bios on homeopaths should insure that the above criteria are met so the article is not sent to AFD.
