• Ramoji Film City is in serious need of editing for neutral POV. At present it reads like an advertisement, and the content seems to be primarily drawn from RFC's own website. In the meanwhile, this entry should be bear a notice regarding its disputed character (see the various comments on the talk page).
• There are lists of Indian film directors, Indian film music directors, Indian playback singers, Indian film choreographers, Indian movie actors, Indian movie actresses etc etc. shouldn't there also be a list of lyricists?
• The Filmfare power lists and lists of top actors/actresses need to be published.
• The article on item numbers needs to be cleaned up.
• Hindi films and plagiarism has become impossible to keep verified and needs a complete rewrite. The skeleton of a proposed new version can be found here, and the discussion can be found here.

• The new article titled Punch Dialogue needs to be improved as I had created it only now. I found a mention if this in a number of South India star pages, and being a Tamilian myself, I thought I could be ideal to create one. I have started compiling the entire list of Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/List of films without article/List of missing Indian Films please help out. Other missing lists can be created by industry in India e,g List of missing Bollywood films etc. The lists are accessed from imdb and each one can be checked for notability or suitability for wikipedia levinga finely tuned list of missing films. Existing film articles should be removed from the list. Soo I will get around to compiling an entire list of Indian feature films ordered by year of release as you have done with the Bollywood films as with List of Argentine films etc. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 14:35, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Indian film Wiki articles often lack conciseness. This is due sometimes to the over-enthusiasm of the Wiki's writers or editors for the subject matter. Writers and editors of these articles should understand that these film pages are meant to convey clean, brief information about films to readers, being careful not to reveal vital plot information or conclusions. It should also be borne in mind that film Wiki articles are meant to neither be prosaic, blow-by-blow recounting of entire films nor altars for panegyric.

Articles on actors seem to fall into a standard pattern of an introductory paragraph, early years, career, personal life, trivia, awards, filmography, references and external links. Articles on Indian musicians generally consist of the following sections: leading paragraph, early years, career, awards, partial discography, references and external links. Articles on films should include an introductory paragraph, an infobox, and possibly a spoilered synopsis.

This has been a very contentious issue. Some enthusiastic fans want to place many pictures, often copyrighted pictures taken from websites. One editor, Plumcouch, has worked hard to make sure that all pictures used are public domain. There is also an emerging consensus that one picture per article may be appropriate, to prevent the proliferation of fan pictures. Comments solicited on talk page.

Fansites are often of low quality and feature commercial links. Moreover, there are many sites for popular actors, and if we link to one, it seems fair to link to all. A consensus seems to be emerging that only links to the actor's official site and IMDB article are allowable. Comments appreciated on talk page.
