[edit] Pages needing work
- Socialist Unity Party (New Zealand) - add few edits in last 2 years and needs references.
- Christchurch - The history section needs some PoV remarks rewritten/removed.
- School uniform#School Uniform in New Zealand - This section was recently tagged with a cleanup tag
- Cinema of New Zealand - Recently tagged with a cleanup tag.
- Cartwright Inquiry - a new page, but in need of wikifying & referencing
- Refugee migration into New Zealand - needs expanding
- New Zealand European - needs urgent expanding.
- New Zealand Music Awards - 'Tui_award_winners_YEAR' page slowly being deleted, information needs moving to 'YEAR in New Zealand' pages and formatting.
- New Zealand Department of Child, Youth and Family Services - Now part of MSD, no longer a separate department but a service of a Ministry.
- Sean Fitzpatrick - full of purple prose that has a whiff of copyvio. dramatic 06:40, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Trams in Australasia - History of Trams in New Zealand needs work.
- Professor and Reader (academic rank) need work. Some of the stuff doesn't describe the situation in NZ very well IMHO. For example, Professor used to suggest that NZ universities use Reader not Associate Professor. I don't know which universities use Reader instead of Associate Professor but I know UoA doesn't and from a quick Google; Massey, Waikato, Victoria, Otago and Canterbury all use Associate Professor so I fixed the article to say most NZ universities use AP. The reader article doesn't really describe this well and I haven't fixed it. 203.109.240.93 00:49, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Politics and history
- New Zealand local body elections, 2007: there's no big rush on this, since nothing exciting will happen until nominations close in August, but I'm trying little bits out here. Kripto 02:37, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
- Arthur Allan Thomas
- New Zealand Commerce Commission
- Jayden Headley
- Aaron Mahoney
- Michael Redman (mayor) - the current article links to somebody way different
- Stuart Crosby - mayor of Tauranga
- Carmen (New Zealand) - Drag queen who ran for Mayor of Wellington in 1977
- Clifford Skeggs, Michael Fowler
- Redlinks in New Zealand's Top 100 History Makers and New Zealand Listener Power List
- Some overview pages would be useful, including:
-
- Political history of New Zealand - giving an overview of governments, important elections, history of the vote etc.
- Capital of New Zealand - currently links straight to Wellington but should probably be a history of the capital's locations (Bay of Islands, Auckland, Wellington) and the reasons for each move.
- Most of the Governments of New Zealand pages need starting, and those that have been started need more details.
- See also Māori people, below
