William Barclay Peat & Co.

William Barclay Peat & Co. was an English accounting firm founded by Sir William Barclay Peat in London in 1870. In 1911 WB Peat & Co. and Marwick Mitchell & Co. merged to form what would later be known as Peat Marwick International (PMI). Then, in 1987 PMI merged with Klynveld Main Goerdeler (KMG) to form KPMG LLP.
