William Gibson Craig

Sir William Gibson Craig, 2nd Baronet (2 August 1797–12 March 1878), was a Scottish politician.
He was the eldest son of Sir James Gibson Craig, 1st Baronet. He became an advocate in 1820 and was Member of Parliament for Midlothian from 1837 to 1841 and for Edinburgh from 1841 to 1852. He was a Junior Lord of the Treasury in Lord John Russell's government from 1846 to 1852. He was Lord Clerk Register and Keeper of the Signet from 1862 until his death. He was made a Privy Counsellor in 1863.
