Windy City Times

The Windy City Times is one of two weekly newspapers serving the LGBT community in the City of Chicago and Chicagoland in Illinois. The other is the Chicago Free Press. Established in 1985 to serve residents of the Boystown subdivision of the Lakeview neighborhood, the publication grew and today offers both print and online editions. The Windy City Media Group, which owns the Windy City Times, also produces the monthly online magazine Identity, the weekly magazine "Nightspots," and the bi-weekly podcast Windy City Queercast."
The managing editor and publisher of Windy City Times is currently Tracy Baim, who bought Windy City Times in 2000 and merged her weekly "Outlines" into it. She has been a part of Windy City Times since 1984. The Times is a member of the National Gay Newspaper Guild.
