WQYK-AM is a sports talk radio station broadcasting on 1010 AM in the Tampa, Florida area. The station has undergone many formate changes within the last year from All-sports to Classic Country and back to all-sports. As of August 10, 2006 CBS Radio switched the format of WQYK-AM 1010 back to all-sports. The station switched from a hot talk format (known as 1010 The Buzz) to classic country in January 2006.
In the past the station carried all sports programming as "Sportsradio 1010" and also The "Sports Asylum" and "1010 Sports".
WQYK-AM is now known as "The Beast" and current line-up is:

The station also carries the NASCAR series including Busch Series and Craftsman Truck Series, NCAA foootball and NFL games via the Westwood One radio network which is affiliated with CBS Radio, and coverage of the MLB's New York Yankees when the Yankees games which do not conflict with Tampa Bay Devil Rays games.
The station is currently the 3rd highest rated all sports radio station according to arbitron ratings for the Tampa/St. Pete radio market behind WDAE and WHBO.
