Xenocide is a text-based MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game). The site is turn based; aspects of the game, such as income, attacks, etc. are updated every hour, with a larger daily reset.
The game was released in October of 2005. As of February 2007, there are roughly 600 users and the site is maintained and updated often.
Like most games of it's type, the goal of the game is to make money, steal money, and become the most powerful. There is always something new to do and there's a large community amongst the chat and forums.
