Xerez Club Deportivo is a Spanish football team from Jerez, in Cádiz province, Andalusia. Founded on September 24, 1947, they currently play in Segunda División. Its reserve team is Xerez B, currently playing in Tercera División.
Its stadium, Estadio Municipal de Chapín, was inaugurated in July 10, 1988, replacing the old Estadio Domecq. The first match in Chapín was a friendly match against Real Madrid, one of the best football teams of the history.
More recently, Xerez have been competing near the top of the Segunda División and they are one of the favourites for being in La Liga next season.
