[edit] Jason Bedrick
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Jason Bedrick, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Jason Bedrick. You may remove the deletion notice, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. [edit] Redirects
Sorry, I've just been cleaning up a few of the redirects you created. Note the you need to put what you are redirecting to where it says "insert text" or else it redirs to the page called Insert Text. Fixing, though I was confused for a long minute. -- Kendrick7talk 11:39, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sockpuppet template
No, I am not an administrator, but you do not have to have administrative powers to remove the template. I also cannot understand why that user added the template. It was probably vandalism or harassment. If you have any further trouble, feel free to contact me on my talkpage. KazakhPol 20:00, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mir Yeshiva (redirection page)
I have added the disambiguation template to the Mir Yeshiva page. At the moment Mir (Brooklyn) contains no new material – are you planning to write it? Another point—when creating a redirection page please use What links here gto identify linked pages and update the links to the new destination. Some pages are now redirected twice! I have started to clean up the linked-in pages but the list is long; maybe you would like to help? I am also creating a Mir (Poland) page since many of the links pre-date the war and cannot sensibly be linked to either Mir (Jerusalem) or Mir (Brooklyn). --Redaktor 20:25, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I have replied to your reply on my Talk page. If necessary we can continue the discussion there. --Redaktor 23:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] PROD at Moshe Aryeh Friedman
Just a friendly reminder to use an edit summary when proposing deletion for an article. Edit summary usage is always good, but it is especially important that edit summaries are used when proposing deletion. The reason for this is that articles proposed for deletion that later have the {{prod}} tag removed should not be proposed for deletion again, but rather sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. The only easy way to check if an article was previously proposed for deletion is to look at the edit history and the edit summaries people have left before. Thanks! GRBerry 18:44, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
I have removed the {{prod}} tag, because it was previously kept at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Moshe Aryeh Friedman. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, it is best not to propose deletion of articles that have previously been de-{{prod}}ed, even by the article creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still feel the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. However, as that discussion was only last month, it would not be appropriate to list it at AFD for another couple months or without some reason to believe that consensus will have changed. The general rule is once notable, always notable. GRBerry 18:44, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: Menachem Genack
An editor has nominated the article Menachem Genack for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Menachem Genack. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Menachem Genack during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. [edit] Shotz (Hasidic dynasty)
I have reverted your edit to Shotz (Hasidic dynasty). I can assure you that the names מאשקאוויץ and שאץ are most definitely and undeniably Yiddish spellings. Best wishes --Redaktor 20:32, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Infobox Rebbe
1 Thank you for your support.
2 Issue 1 means issue from Wife 1 etc
3 Please suggest fine tuning and I would be happy to try to incorporate it. --Redaktor 10:31, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Natan Slifkin
I see you are also interested in Natan Slifkin. Please review these articles, because I have run up against an intransigent editor:
Perhaps you could also review the changes the same editor has made to Natan Slifkin. He does not come from the Jewish perspective, and he seems to be following me around and looking for ways to harass me. --Metzenberg 04:59, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- I really need your help here. ZayZayEM is engaging in troll-like behavior, such as making edits on the very materials I am editing, removing materials immediately after I add them, and so forth. It is a harassment pattern that extends across multiple articles. The main articles involved are:
- It is bizarre behavior, because I can see no reason why he is even interested in this material. As you and I both know, it is material you have to really understand well to edit. Over the last week, I have substantially rearranged all the materials on Judaism and evolution in an effort to clean up the main Judaism and Evolution page first of all, so that it can be turned into a page that is not dominated by issues (such as the Slifkin affair) that would have undue weight. ZayZayEM has simply made it impossible for me to work. He has followed me from one article to another, demanding arbitrary changes. many of his edits, and his changes, show that he knows very little about the subject, which as you and I both know, is quite abstruse at times. --Metzenberg 16:14, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
