Yodlee is a company which implements account aggregation and other online financial services. Yodlee allows users to see their credit card, bank, investment accounts, emails, etc. in one screen. Rather than market their services directly to consumers, they partner with other institutions so that Yodlee-based services can be offered to their customers. Ameriprise Financial, Inc. and Wachovia are among the financial institutions which use Yodlee services. Yodlee has offices in the United States, United Kingdom, and India.
The company is a leader in personal finance and mobile banking. Yodlee MoneyCenter is a popular web application that allows consumers to manages their finances online. It is a free web application that provides much of the popular personal finance functions of Intuit's Quicken with features such as bill payment, expenses tracking, and investment management.
Yodlee was funded by Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners. Recently, it received funding from Institutional Venture Partners and Warburg Pincus. Ram Shriram, an initial investor in Google and VP development at Netscape, was an initial investor in Yodlee, along with Sabeer Bhatia, founder of Hotmail, and BV Jagdeesh, founder of Exodus Communications.
Yodlee has fielded several acquisition offers in the range of $500 million to $1 billion. The company plans to go public in 2008.
