Hello! My name is Taylor, I've been a Wikipedian for a while, but not as a registered member. Being registered just makes things a lot easier-anyone who uses an IP address should change anyway! Anyway, back to subject. I found Wikipedia a while ago in an online magazine and have used it ever since for researching-it is certainly the biggest encyclopedia I've seen. I also love the way it's free (as in free speech of course).

I'm a student living in South Australia. I am a member of the Adelaide WikiProject and hope to join many more groups later. I enjoy listening to music, particularly alternative music and rock, which I listen to on a PlayStation Portable or my new 2G iPod Shuffle. I am also an avid fan of "Weird Al" Yankovic, Gorillaz, and Ben Folds.

I have used Wikipedia for some time as a user with an IP address, but now use a registered name. I have edited many articles using the IP address, but as a registered user, I feel I can get credit for my work more easily. I love helping the community and adding things to articles that are requested, such as the maps in the Goyder's Line article. I'm still learning the Wiki syntax.

I don't have any fancy degrees, however I do know HTML and basic PHP. I am very skilled in CSS, but that's about it. I prefer to use a Macintosh for regular computing and a Windows-based computer for gaming.

I also love TV and video games. I was going to purchase a next-gen console, probably a PlayStation 3, but due to delays in Europe I decided to change my purchase to a MacBook.
