Zoeterwoude (population: 8,526 in 2004) is a municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality covers an area of 21.91 km² (of which 0.67 km² water).
The municipality of Zoeterwoude consists of the following towns, villages and townships: Zoeterwoude-Dorp, Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk - Gelderswoude, Weipoort, Westeinde, Zuidbuurt.
The main Heineken brewery is located here.
