The image used on Battle.net for Anime Fight

Anime Fight is an Arena type map for Warcraft III, where teams of players fight to earn the most kills and win the match. The theme of the map is anime, and players fight it out as characters from various anime shows such as Naruto, Inuyasha, and Rurouni Kenshin. Players can also fight a boss monster, fight enemy creeps, or try to go through a maze to earn extra gold. A good number of the spells in the map are stat-based, a difficult to program but quality feature that makes the map more balanced overall. The number of heroes is quite large for an Arena-type map (there are about 40 at current). Players can use their gold to purchase tomes, which provide a permanent boost to the hero's stats, or potions, which provide quick, cheap healing. The map, while not as popular as DotA, is still one of the most played custom maps on Warcraft III at current. ==General== Anime Fight is a custom Warcraft III map created by Spathis. The map is one of many arena-type maps, where players try to earn the most hero kills for their team. Most of the fighting takes place in the center of the map, near the fountain. The fountain provides health and mana regeneration to units near it, making it the focus of the fighting. Creeps also appear in the center area of the map, are the two bases, where players can purchase various items. Every few minutes, there is a duel between the two teams. There are several types of duels, the most popular being elimination. Heroes have unlimited lives and revive immediately after dying. An anti-camping option is available to stop campers from killing heroes who have just revived. Players can choose to repick their heroes for 1000 gold. This rarely happens since the repicked hero will only be level one. Gold is mainly spent on buying tomes to increase your stats or level. Players can also buy potions for healing during battle and a speed upgrade to modify your movement speed to maximum. The player who plays as Sephiroth can save up gold and buy a Masamune, which gives Sephiroth +500 attack damage. ==Unique Features== Anime Fight has a large collection of heroes, with over 40 in the map at current. Many of the heroes have stat-based spells, a rarely used feature that helps balance the map throughout all the stages of the game. The map allows players to betray their team or go solo, fighting everyone on their own. This is difficult and requires you to be a good deal stronger than your opponents, but is advantageous as it allows you to fight anyone you want. There is a tome shop at the bottom right corner of the map for solo player to buy tomes. Solo players also gain more experience and gold per kill, but do not spawn inside the base. The solo and betray commands can be disabled by the host to keep teams balanced. The host also has an equalize command (-equal), which switches player in order to create equal teams. Another different feature is the gold vault in the lower left corner of the map, which offers vast amounts of money to players who can sneak past the vault guards. In the upper left corner, there's a boss that players can take on in order to earn large amounts of cash as well. The boss revives a few seconds after being defeated. Its stats will increase every time its defeated, making it harder each time to defeat him. If you die in the boss area, you drop all your items, allowing opponents to steal your items. ==Game and Duel modes== In a regular Anime Fight match, players pick a hero and fight it out alongside their team, but this is just one of the many modes. One of the other modes is All Random (activated by typing -ar when the match starts). Each player is given a random hero, forcing the players to try new strategies. Another mode is Free for All (-ffa). In Free For All mode, all of the contestants fight against each other, leading to chaotic battles. Also, duels are changed to Free for All mode, where the players are placed at random throughout the dueling arena. One other mode is Capture the Flag, in which the teams of players fight to bring the flag to their base. The flag is located in the center of the map, and slows down the carrier, leading to battles where all the focus is on one target. One last mode is Deathmatch, in which each player has one life and whoever finishes the opposing team off first wins. The regular duels in Anime Fight occur every four minutes and are one on one deathmatches between the two players with the highest kills (although the game settings also allow you to vote for your team's duelist, if enabled by the host). The most popular duel type, though, is elimination. In an Elimination match, two players fight to the death and the winner has to fight another member of the opposing team. This goes on until one team is out of players. The last mode is Full House, in which all members of the team fight at once. ==Heroes== Anime Fight contains many custom playable heroes of characters from various anime and videogames. {| class="wikitable" style="margin:auto" |- !
