Wizard of Yendor

Wizard of Yendor (WoY), käännettynä "Yendorin velho", joka tunnetaan myös nimellä "Rodney" (Yendor takaperin), on voimakas vastustaja roguelike-genreen kuuluvassa NetHack-tietokonepelissä. Hän elää tornissaan Gehennomissa, ja omistaa Kuolleitten kirjan. Wizard of Yendor voi kirota pelaajan esineitä, tehdä voimakkaita loitsuja, ja palata kuolleista. Nethackin alkuperäisessä ASCII-versiossa häntä kuvaa merkki @.
Ensimmäisen kerran Wizard of Yendor esiintyi Nethackin esi-isässä Hackissa, versiossa 1.0.2. Siinä hän vartioi Amulet of Yendoria. Pelissä hänen lempinimeään, Rodneyta, ei käytetä.
Wizard of Yendoria ei voi tehdä ystävällismieliseksi, ja hän voi varastaa pelaajan Quest Artifactin, siis myös Amulet of Yendorin. Wizard of Yendor on immuuni useimmille maagisille hyökkäyksille, mutta haavoittuvainen Finger of Deathin ja muiden "instadeath"-loitsujen edessä.
Nethack kuvailee Wizard of Yendoria näin:
No one knows how old this mighty wizard is, or from whence he came. It is known that, having lived a span far greater than any normal man's, he grew weary of lesser mortals; and so, spurning all human company, he forsook the dwellings of men and went to live in the depths of the Earth. He took with him a dreadful artifact, the Book of the Dead, which is said to hold great power indeed. Many have sought to find the wizard and his treasure, but none have found him and lived to tell the tale. Woe be to the incautious adventurer who disturbs this mighty sorcerer!
