Mitch Pileggi

Mitchell Craig Pileggi (Portland, 5 aprile 1952) è un attore statunitense.
Ha iniziato la sua carriera interpretando vari ruoli in B-movie e come attore ospite in serie televisive come Dallas, Walker Texas Ranger e China Beach.
Divenne conosciuto al grande pubblico interpretando il ruolo di Walter Skinner, vicedirettore dell'FBI nella serie televisiva X-Files. Il suo personaggio crebbe via via di importanza con il passare delle stagioni del telefilm, fino a diventare quello più importante dopo i due protagonisti, Fox Mulder e Dana Scully.
Dal 1978 al 1983 è stato sposato con Debbie Andrews.
Sul set della serie tv X-Files, Mitch Pileggi ha conosciuto Arlene Warren. I due si sono sposati alle Hawaii nel dicembre del 1996. La coppia ha una figlia, Sawyer, nata nel marzo 1998.
Attualmente si dedica quasi interamente a lavorare in serie tv.
