Tony MacAlpine

Tony Jeff MacAlpine (nato il 29 agosto 1960 a Springfield, Massachusetts) è un virtuoso chitarrista e tastierista americano con uno stile unico che miscela elementi di metal neo-classico e jazz fusion.
È conosciuto soprattutto come chitarrista solista anche se ha lavorato con diverse band e molti musicisti differenti come i Planet X e Steve Vai. Prima di essere un chitarrista, MacAlpine è anche un virtuoso pianista e suona tutte le parti di tastiera dei suoi albums.
Tony suona la chitarra e le tastiere nella band di Steve Vai and The Breed ( the Real Illusions Tour 2005) e prende parte anche al Live at the Astoria London DVD del gruppo così come ai DVD live del G3, Live in Denver and Live in Tokyo.
