English: Allard Schmidt: "This picture was taken at sunrise, after hiking ahead of the group towards Machu Picchu I found Machu Picchu empty, Wayne Pichu was covered in clouds. After waiting 10 minutes the clouds dissolved beautifully resulting in this picture. Unfortunately, the moment the thin clouds covered Wayne Pichu was very short, there was no time to change the camera light exposure settings in order to correct the overexposure."
Español: Allard Schmidt: Esta imagen se tomó al amanecer, luego de adelantarme al grupo de excursionistas camino a Machu Picchu. Descubrí que Machu Pichu estaba desierta, y que Wayne Pichu estaba cubierta de nubes. Luego de esperar 10 minutos, la bruma se dispersó hermosamente. El resultado fue esta fotografía. Por desgracia, el momento durante el cual Wayne Pichu estaba cubierto de nubes terminó luego de un breve tiempo y no tuve oportunidad de arreglar la configuración de la cámara, por lo que la imagen está un poco sobreexpuesta.

J'ai trouvé le Machu Picchu désert, et le Wayne Pichu dans les nuages. Après dix minutes d'attente, la brume s'est dissipée joliment, ce qui a donnée cette photographie. Malheureusement l'instant où le Wayne Pichu était entouré de nuages fins était trop bref pour que je puisse régler l'appareil, et l'image est un peu surexposée.»
