Jordan i Michael Simon (Simon dołączył do grupy w 2006, przed nim grali Ferris Bueller 1994-97, Axel Coon 1998-2002 Jay Frog 2002 - 2006 Wszyscy oficjalnie odeszli dla solowej kariery). Zespół powstał w 1993. Pierwszy ich hit Hyper Hyper odniósł ogromny sukces. Każdy kolejny singel grupy trafia na pierwsze miejsca list przebojów. Scooter to jeden z najbardziej znanych zespołów muzyki dance. Na początek 2007 roku zapowiadane są: nowy singiel Behind the Cow (Zaraz po nim Lass Uns Tanzen) i album The Ultimate Aural Orgasm.

Piosenki Scootera zawierają wiele charakterystycznych elementów. Często występuje tzw. pitched voice, który stał się znakiem firmowym grupy, charakterystyczny jest również charakterystyczny okrzyk H.P. "Yeeeaaahhh", który występuje w wielu utworach podobnie jak odgłosy publiczności.
