Hanamakonda is a city in Andhra Pradesh.

Hanamkonda is a one city of tri-cities comprising of Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet. 4,50,000(2006). Hanamkonda is 6km far from the Kazipet Railway station and 6km far from Warangal Railway station. The Thousand Pillar Temple is in Hanamkonda. This is more developed city and a bit westernised as it has many restaurants, bakeries, pubs, gardens, shopping complexes and most of the rich people in Warangal prefer to live in this city.

Advocates Colony is like the Beverly Hills of Hanamkonda. Some properties in this area run up to 2 crores in Indian Rupees. This town boasts of clean roads, green surroundings, upbeat restaurants, theaters etc. Currently, it has been noticed that the town is overflooded with people moving in from neighboring villages, real estate boom, traffic congestion. But, overall this town is more liveable than Kazipet or Warangal.
