Kodad (or Kodada) is a town located on the NH-9 between Hyderabad and Vijayawada in the Nalgonda district which is, no estado indiano de Andhra Pradesh, South India.

Kodad is a business hub for the cement factories, rice paddy cultivation and parboiled rice production. You can find limestone mines in and around Kodad.

Almost 80% of the cement in the state is produced from places nearby Kodad.

Kodad is located on NH-9 connecting Hyderabad and Vijayawada so there are at least 4 to 5 buses every half an hour that ply between Vijayawada and Hyderabad. Gannavaram Airport is nearest to Kodad, being around 100 km away. The Hyderabad Airport is 200 km. from Kodad.

A fort at Muktyala 20 km from Kodad is interesting to visit. Next to the fort there is a Shivalayam temple on the basin of the River Krishna. Lord Lakshmi Narasimha swami Temple at Mattapalli, 20km away from kodad.
