Champagne-Ardenne

Champagne-Ardenne is a region in the north of France. Its capital is Chalons-en-Champagne (which was knon as Chalsons-sur-Marne until 1998. Another very important city in the region is Reims. It is much bigger than Chalons. The region is heavily centered on agriculture, and is among the least populated of France. It is the first region of france as to the production of Barley and Alfalfa. Many cereals are also grown here. It is also very important for vegetables and wine.
