Chihuahua (dog)
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chihuahuas are a very small breed of dogs (see canine) and were bred to be pampered. The large eyes of a chihuahua trigger a "cute" reaction in humans and thus we want to cuddle them. Chihuahuas are most commonly light beige with white markings. Many chihuahuas stand at 7" at the shoulder and weigh anywhere from 7-14 pounds (3 kg-6kg). Sometimes it is hard to imagine a chihuahua being a descendent of the wolf, which is also in the canine family.
