Coral (colour)

Coral is a reddish or pinkish shade of orange. The colour is named after the sea animal also called corals. Coral and coral pink are popular colours for painting a room to give a calm feeling of warmth. In some sects of Hinduism, coral red instead of red is shown as being the colour which represents the first (muladhara) chakra in Hindu philosophy.
