[edit] 10Base2 / coax / Thinnet
I get the feeling that the 10Base2 part of the article was written by someone who knew only what is said in the EN article. There is a "vampire tap" mentioned there, but I've never even seen one, and I used to work with coax a lot, back before 10baseT became popular in the US. What I'm familiar with is lengths of cable connected by "T" connectors; the base of the "T" is what connects to the computer. The cable looks the same as cable TV cable, but thinner (and is sometimes called "thinnet" for that reason). Is it different elsewhere? --Scott McNay 01:13, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
