Father

A father is a male parent of someone. In daily talk they are sometimes called Dad or Daddy. Most animals including human beings are born from a mother and a father.
The father of your husband or wife is your father-in-law.
In some cultures father means a leader. The founders of a country are sometimes referred as Fathers. Creators or inventors are sometimes called fathers.
In some religions, like the Jewish religion or Christianity, the God is called Father. In the Christian belief the God has three personas; Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Father can also be used as a title for Catholic priests.
