Interpretation
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An interpretation is a way of thinking about something. There might be many ways to look at a situation, each of them are interpretations. An interpretation is sometimes called valid (meaning possibly true) if it does not go against anything that is known to be true. It might not be true, but it cannot be proven untrue. Two interpretations which are both valid might be completely opposite to each other. Unless some facts are known that make one or the other invalid, reasonable people could see things either way.
Some differences of interpretation come from people not accepting the same facts or truths.
