User talk:Misza13
From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello, Misza13, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.
Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.
If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.
Good luck and happy editing!
Welcome, Misza13! Ding Xiang here. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me!-- Tdxiang 02:58, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the welcome! Not that I know all that already, :-D but it's nice of you anyway. Misza13 17:16, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
- Just concerned, you know, because this Wiki isn't another English Wikipedia: We work differently and follow Foundation Rules.-- Tdxiang 03:21, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dimension
Actually measuring position is the same as measuring size, but to make it clearer, I have changed it. I think you are correct that most people will think size first.--Filll 21:34, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
- Frankly, being a matematician I think of position rather than size. And true, measuring size is effectively the same as measuring the position of the one end with other set as a reference point. Misza13 21:38, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rules
Hello, Misza13! Listen, you can follow EN Wikipedia rules, but refrain from placing too much emphasis on such policies. We try to be Simple here. That's why I say we are not another EN Wikipedia. :) Whatever it is, I don't object to such policies. They are good, but you don't need to emphasize too much on them, ok? Thank you!-- Tdxiang 01:19, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Simple or not, some things should rather be taken seriously - otherwise, this place might turn into a dangerous trollhouse pretty quick. Additionally, I believe simplicity applies mainly to articles. But, whatever. Misza13 20:18, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] SYSOP
Currently I am runing to become a sysop. The main reason why I want to become one is to better help in the war against vandalism, I believe in tougher blocks against vandals and after the 2 time they vandaliz an article I will impose a ban on them. I have a lot of free time so I will be a active sysop. At one point I had a average of 50 edits a day, now I have a average of 30 because I was busy and not able to edit. If you have any questions ask me on my talk page please. to vote go to Wikipedia:Administrators. Have a nice week and god bless.--Sir James Paul 21:05, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] bot
please can you request bot flag before run? --vector ^_^ (talk) 23:03, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- it's been speedy flagged already. Archer is doing some paperwork on WP:BOTS at the moment. But extra points for vigilance! :-)Миша13 23:05, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
