When they talk about a three dimensional representation, what they mean is that they have a Vector space, and a Basis of three Vectors. These three vectors are special. Starting from any point in the vector space, they can reach any other point, by adding, subtracting, or multiplying these vectors by scalars.--Filll 21:28, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
