Whole

A thing that is whole is not in pieces that are apart. The parts of the thing are together. Something that is whole is not missing any pieces. Something that is whole is complete.

- John has an apple. John takes a bite out of the apple. After the bite, the apple is not whole.
- A whole minute has sixty seconds. A length of time 43 seconds long is a piece of a minute.
