- Statistiken kring avrättningarsmetoderna i det revolutionära Frankrike är suddig. Hur många dödades med giljotin och hur många mejades ner med kanoner och musköter? Emellanåt kan man även se argument att baktanken med giljotinen var att det skulle gå lätt att snabbt avrätta många offer. Något som faller undan lite om man vet att giljotinen i verkligeheten ansågs för långsam. --Crocuta 3 april 2006 kl.17.52 (CEST)

I don't speak Swedish, so I need a bit help with this... Please add (in Swedish) an image description to the image with the two guillotines side-by-side according to the image description on the image page. Further, please expand the description of the second image saying that a guillotine of this type was used in Baden, Germany, and that the photo shows a reconstruction on display at the museum of Bruchsal.
