Étude Op. 25, No. 9
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Étude Op. 25, No. 9 "Butterfly" is a piece by Frederic Chopin. It is a study in staccatto legato alternations, marked throughout the piece. The title "Butterfly" was not given by Chopin (as many of his pieces with poetic titles were), however Arthur Friedheim said, "while some titles were superfluous, this one is inadequate."
