[edit] How to pronounce his name?
- I added an audio file with pronunciation. Does it help? Renata 09:02, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Birth in the USSR
I'm not sure if there is a uniform Wikipedia standard on this or not, but the article lists Marciulionis's birthplace as "Kaunas, Lithuania" rather than "Kaunas, Soviet Union" (or USSR). Shouldn't he be listed as born in the Soviet Union since Lithuania only regained independence in 1990? I checked a couple of articles trying to find a "standard", but the only thing I found was Vlade Divac's article which lists "Yugoslavia" for his birth and then notes that it is present-day "Serbia and Montenegro". --Jakob Huneycutt 22:14, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR, but honestly I've never really noticed, I think because using the country name is pretty standard, not just for Lithuania but all the SSRs(?). heqs 22:03, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
