Hi MT,
The autobiography tag I put up because it seemed appropriate, as that page is an autobiography, as another user had already pointed out - maybe it would work better on your user page?
As for the FFA, someone unfamiliar with the literature might assume that the alternate point of view has just as many followers or papers, when, in reality, (regardless of which theory will ultimately be proven correct) that is certainly not the case currently - a pubmed search for 'fusiform expertise' returns only 20 results.
I can see how you might take these two edits together as some kind of personal attack, but I assure you that's not the case, please do not, I have nothing against you personally.

1) thanks for replying. I didn't take it as a personal attack, but as an annoyance vis a vis, what the actual content was. My impression Autobiography is intended to highlight people trying to self-promote. I was trying to be informative. 2) What is a user page? Is there any reason to create one? 3) As for what pub med counts say, that is an inexact way of doing research. I would say that "minority" is definitely an unnecessary point of view added to a scientific discussion. You review an alternative. All that need simply be said is the ultimate answer is as yet still unclear. If I wanted to guess as to what the field currently believes (and who knows what that actually might be), I would look at text books and perhaps guage conference sessions, etc. In this particular case I would say there are true believers on both sides, perhaps more on the modular side, but not so many more. Most people don't seem to know what to make of it all.

PS And if I seem just a bit paranoid, you should look at sites such as NGK's long page on the expertise hypothesis - sent to 100's of my colleagues without the courtesy of even letting me know it existed. If you look at my wiki I have reposted the page with editable fields so people can make comments if they wish.

Glad I checked here, I never would have seen that message!
A user page is a little homepage for yourself on wikipedia, where you can put things about yourself, links to articles you like etc. You can click on my user ID below this message to see an example (probably not the best example around, but maybe still helpful).
What is the address of your wiki? I'll check that out.
