[edit] Melodic Death Metal
Sorry to anyone who doesn't agree with some points I have, particulary on melodic death metal. Several album review websites DO state Darkest Hour as melodic death metal and I know there is debate on the genre so I think it's best to list them as both metalcore and melodic death metal, because Darkest Hour does show hardcore influences. 1607m4dsk1llz 04:10, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I need a lot of experience
I am always looking for things to do on wikipedia and I'd like to improve it anyway possible, I'm a very novice editor but I'd like to get better, so far I've only created a couple stubs and a disambiguation page and correct minor errors or vandalism. I'd like to contribute to any projects if you'd like to contact me. If anyone could show me some tips, it'd be greatly appreciated. Digital Imaging – Logo Project Developing a Business Logo To complete this assignment you will use the Internet, MS Word and Photoshop
Section A – Exploration / Checking others work
Directions: Go online and find 5 business logos that are of interest to you. You will then place 3 of your favorite onto a word document. Your name, class, date and assignment should be placed in a header. (10 Points)
Section B – Educate yourself
Directions: Go to http://www.pegaweb.com/tutorials/company-logo-design/company-logo-design.htm and work through the tutorial. Take notes as this will be your additional training to creating your own logo. Summarize what you learned in a type 2 writing (hand written). (10 Points)
Section C - Planning
Directions: On a blank piece of paper, using color pencils or crayons design two different mock-ups of a logo for a company that you may want to start. You should think about colors, fonts, and graphics to create the appropriate feelings when someone sees your logo. (10 Points)
Section D – Create It
Directions: Create your approved logo in Photoshop. Make sure to size it appropriately and save it in the proper format depending on the stage you are in. You will be given a grade based on the various tools that you had to use and the final product.
