This is not the user page of any one user. This is the Toronto Public Library. Your warnings do not hit home at all... There are about 100 or so internet terminals here used everyday by a large number of members of the public! Those who are responsible for whatever vandalism may not even get to see your warnings!

- Actually it does matter. Do you think those who committed vandalism using shared IP addresses are going to stick around to read the warnings? On the other hand, if it doesn't matter as you say, why did you have to come and say what should then be obvious, i.e. that it doesn't matter? The comment above was placed for a purpose i.e. to let people like yourself know that this IP address is used by a number of people, not all them are vandals. The other statement was to point out that the warnings to vandals are unlikely to hit home.
