The 1933 Tour de France was the 27th Tour de France, taking place June 27 to July 23, 1933. It was comprised of 23 stages over 4395 km, ridden at an average speed of 29.818 km/h.
This race featured the introduction of the King of the Mountains competition, in which cyclists were challenged to climb the mountains the fastest, with points given to the fastest ascenders.
