The 1974 version of the Five Nations Championship was held over a period of two months, from January 19 to March 16, 1974. The tournament was contested by England, France, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The championship was won by Ireland, the team's eighth title (excluding seven other titles, which had been shared with other teams).
