The 1986 Chicago Bears season was their 67th regular season and 17th post-season completed in the National Football League. The club posted a 14-2 record and won the NFC Central for the third consecutive season. But quarterback Jim McMahon was lost for the year midway through the season, and the Bears were upset in the NFC Divisional Playoffs by the Washington Redskins.
