If you look at the bottom of the page you're pointing to, you'll see this notice: This article was derived fully or in part from an article on Wikipedia.org . RickK 03:20, 27 May 2004 (UTC)
If you continue to delete sections of articles without giving any reason you risk to get blocked, as this counts as vandalism. andy 22:42, 22 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Out of curiosity, what sections of what articles did I allegedly delete (I cannot recall whether I have done any such thing), and what is that first comment trying to tell me?
It seems to me that any chastising done toward this IP will have very little effect, for as has been mentioned, this is a standard AOL IP and the same user will not often be on the same IP twice. I might suggest more prominent warnings on the editing pages.
Why do I get these messages? I'm just reading shit and then some dudes say I'm vandalizing wikipedia.

I'm feeling a bug in wikipedia. This isn't my IP, and isn't in the range of IPs my ISP leases.
- You might wanna check that at www.whatismyip.com. Could be a proxy, or a WP bug. -- Solitude 13:16, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Yeah somebody sent me this message too and I was just reading stuff related to my bio homework
Erm, I want to add myself to the list of people who are getting a link to this page when its not their IP. This does seem like some sort of bug.

Same here. I'm getting this message and it isn't my IP.
WTF? Same problem here. Anyone know what's going on?
