Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Battle of Vimy Ridge. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. WerdnaTc@bCmLt 03:55, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Battle of Vimy Ridge, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. WerdnaTc@bCmLt 03:56, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
In response to the frivolous accusations above: Excuse you very much, but I did not "vandalize" the Vimy Ridge page, nor do I partake in posting "nonsense" as you so prejudicially call it. I made a correction several times which was ignored and reverted by a stubborn and biased user who finally relented and added a footnote to the contested passage as I suggested (though I note that that has since been changed in an attempt to cover any incompetence on the part of the user in question). I also strongly suggest that in the future you not take such a one-sided attitude towards such matters simply because one user has seniority over the other.
The only nonsense on that page is the continued perpetuation of completely fictitious quotations. Threatening contributors who donate their own free time to ensure the accuracy of an article is no way to foster the growth of Wikipedia. If I were really a "vandal" as you seem happy to label me, a ridiculous IP ban would not stop me anyway. Step off of your wiki-throne and try to take an objective look at the matter next time, "Werdna648."
I request and expect an acknowledgement and response from you, whomever you are.

- Hello, I just received your message on my talk page. My apologies for the above warnings and the reversion of your contributions. I have recently been working on a tool to aid in detecting and reverting vandalism on Wikipedia, which, as you may or may not know, is quite a significant issue. The edits in question were caused by a malfunction of said software. I'd like to apologise profusely for this mistake - it was soon after rectified - however I was unaware of how many articles were affected by this defect. Thanks, and Welcome to Wikipedia.
