[edit] Re: Please Provide Detailed Comments Rather Than Generic Templates
Hi there - Re: your message: Thanks for getting in touch with me. As far as tags go, I put them up on the pages to which I assume you are referring (Christian P. Grant and Executive Conversations) because I know nothing about either subject, but sometimes attaching tags is a good way to catch the attention of another editor who does know more. I did a Google search for "Christian P. Grant" and found very few hits, and the only results for a combination search on "Christian Grant" and "Executive Conversations" were your Wikipedia article. Since that didn't establish notability, I thought you might be Mr. Grant himself - hence the tag on that page. The Executive Conversations article contained some very non-encyclopedic information, such as the "Viewer Comments" section, which also made it sound a bit like an advertisement, and so I thought the tag was appropriate. But like I said, I don't know anything about either topic, so I did not want to muck around with the language too much. From an outside point of view, the lack of Google hits on either subject is a concern in terms of notability, but perhaps you can clear up that issue.
Thanks for leaving me a message, and please contact me again if you wish. - Tapir Terrific 22:43, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
P.S. For future talk page messages, here are a few tips that make things easier for the recipient::
- Leave the message at the bottom of the page, rather than the top
- Specify what pages you are writing about
- Sign with four tildes ~ it will leave your name (or, in your case, your IP address) and the date and time at which you left the message
