.so is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Somalia.
Due to the absence of a recognized government in Somalia, the operations of this domain, officially delegated to a company with an address in Pittsburgh, have been suspended. For a while, the only active site was a one-page site at nic.so which says that the .so domain is "parked" and registrations are "unavailable" as of February 2005. Currently, the .so zone consists of a wildcard record pointing to the reserved address 127.0.0.2, thus effectively disabling the domain.
