[edit] Re: Edit for 'vandalism' on 2006 FIFA World Cup
hi, i believe you reverted the 2006 FIFA World Cup page uneccessarily by removing the following alleged 'vandalism' re:the time of kovac's for croatia against Australia in Group F on the 22nd of June: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=2006_FIFA_World_Cup&diff=60148802&oldid=60148576
may i turn your attention to the FIFA match record: http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/match/44/mr.html which points out that the particular goal was in fact scored at 56 minutes not 57' as you had re-edited as being.
- I have read your message on my talk page. If you have not already done so then I invite you to put the actual number on minutes back into the article. This was my mistake here, as we often have a problem where users change statistics in articles in order to make wikipedia less accurate and essentially destroy our reputation. We call this 'sneaky vandalism'. It seems you were innocent of this and i apologise for any trouble I may have caused you in reverting the page. Thank you for notifying me of my mistake. You may want to consider getting an account if you plan to stick around. It is as easy as clicking the link it the top-right of your screen that says 'sign in/create account' and following the instructions. MichaelBillington 05:45, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
