Blogs and personal websites are not considered reliable sources of information. Please see WP:RS. Also, it is against guidelines to add links to websites that you are affiliated with. See WP:EL and WP:SPAM for more information on what type of external links are appropriate. - Hi Chris. I'm afraid I must concur with Dan - this would appear to be a blog-like essay on some musings about leadership. In your own words, it's a 'rough draft'. Adding your own site to wikipedia articles is not a good idea, as noted above twice. Please consider this a third reminder that this is not really acceptable under our guidelines, and I have removed your link again. Chris: Nobody is pushing their "views" on you here. The guidelines and policies on external links are quite clear, and because of WP:SPAM concerns, removal of external links is a normal and accepted practice. As Wikipedia is aiming for a print version, external links that do not serve as a citation for any of the content in the article really do not help said article much.
Instead of encouraging someone affiliated with you to add the link (which could be considered a form of meatpuppetry, please instead add your link to the article's talk page. This is the commonly-accepted practice for when an editor strongly wishes to add a link to a website he/she is associated with. By doing this, regular editors of the article can review the link and reach a consensus regarding whether or not to include it. Consensus is an important thing here at Wikipedia, and without it there is nothing that obligates Wikipedia to host any particular link. --AbsolutDan (talk) 13:12, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
